  • Technically, this is not dropshipping. This is one of the standard buy and sell models used by a lot of businesses. You import a product in bulk for cheap price. Then you add your own label and packaging touches to each item. You will also be the one to ship the orders. This one requires a storage or warehouse (for large inventories).

THINGS TO DO:
  • Search a single product that sells. Use WatchCount, Google Trends, Amazon, Ebay. This is important because you will be stocking these items in your place and you need to be able to really sell them.
  • Furnish up a logo or brand label.
  • Find suppliers in Alibaba. Compare MOQ (minimum order quantity), store certificates, store reviews, pricing, how they respond to inquiries, and their willingness to add your logo/label into the product.
  • Calculate how many items you need to sell to break even, so you can figure if it's doable or you'll lose money.
  • Now that you will be selling a physical product and shipping it from your place, sort the places first where you are planning to sell. It can help lower your overhead cost if you start selling some items as soon as you can.
  • Place your order to Alibaba. Shipping time can be stretched to about a month.
  • For this case, the creator ordered other items to vamp and personalize the glasses. These included glass cases, microfiber cloths, stickers and tags. 
  • All these before opening a Shopify store.
  • When your product arrives, take professional-looking photographs for your store.
